Jesus calls us to humble ourselves and become like children again, removing all knowledge we already have and starting back at square one but learning the ropes through His will and His way so we may be full and complete. Being a child is asking questions, being intrigued, and wanting to know why things are the way they are. As a child, you are always waiting for your next instruction from your parents, 'do this' or 'don't touch that because it might burn you. Our relationship with Jesus is the same way, He wants to teach us to live the best life we could possibly live and protect us from things we cannot see that could hurt us. But for that we must be like children, humble ourselves, and seek His will over anything else while being obedient because we understand that His plan is better than any plan we could have for ourselves.
